Psychologist

Gayathri T. is a Psychologist and Co-founder of V-Empower, with strong expertise in counselling psychology, child psychology, mental wellness, developmental disabilities, POSH, POCSO awareness, and soft skills training. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Madras and has completed postgraduate diplomas in Integrated Management, Developmental Disabilities, and Counselling Psychology.

With extensive experience in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing, Gayathri has worked with children, students, professionals, educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate organizations. She has served as Project Head for ANI, a consortium supporting Tamil Nadu government schools in enhancing the psychological and emotional wellbeing of children. She has also worked as a child psychologist specializing in children with developmental delays.

Gayathri has been associated as a consultant psychologist with reputed organizations and wellness centres including Apollo Life, Mind Café, Kola Saraswati Agarwal Health Center, and Nithra. She has conducted workshops on mental hygiene, POSH, and soft skills training at leading institutions such as VIT Chennai, Jerusalem Engineering College, Mahalakshmi College of Arts & Science, and SRM.

She has also served as a guest lecturer at Anna Adarsh College and Madras School of Social Work. As a certified POSH and POCSO trainer, Gayathri is a POSH panel member for several organizations across Chennai, Mumbai, and other regions. She is also recognized as a Brand Ambassador for Mental Wellness by the International Women’s Organization.
