The Certified Polysomnography Technician (CPT) – 6 Months Program is a comprehensive,
skill-based offline training designed to prepare participants to work confidently in a clinical sleep
laboratory. The program includes in-depth theory, hands-on PSG training, patient handling, scoring
fundamentals, CPAP titration support, and real-time sleep lab exposure.
Program Objectives
- Understand sleep physiology and common sleep disorders.
- Prepare patients and conduct overnight Polysomnography (PSG) studies.
- Apply electrodes/sensors correctly and perform calibration checks.
- Monitor signals and patients, identify artifacts, and troubleshoot issues.
- Learn basic scoring of sleep stages and respiratory events.
- Assist in CPAP titration studies and patient counselling basics.
